Ren Hang: 野生

野生 is a large format collection of unbound posters (book size: posters folded to 28 x 40 cm, open size 56 x 40 cm) printed on strong paper, held together by a banderole.

The double pages confront vertical formats with half of horizontal formats, vertical confront vertical, or half of horizontal confront another half or horizontal formats, recontextualizing Ren Hang's work.It is Ren Hang's biggest and heaviest book up to now.

Every single spread can be taked out, seen as a whole and used as full size poster or print.

The book is co-published with OstLicht Gallery in Vienna, and printed in an edition of 600 copies (500 trade copies and 100 AP).

野生 is published in conjunction with the exhibition REN HANG / 野生 at OstLicht Gallery, ­Vienna, from March 19 to June 19, 2015, curated by ­Raphaele ­Godin and Rebekka Reuter.
